Polaris Cleaning Instructions
Regular care of bamboo will ensure that it retains its lasting beauty for a long time. Although bamboo is a very strong material, it is a natural substance which can be adversely affected by use of harsh cleansers.
AstraGranite sinks should be cleaned regularly. Gentle scrubbing with a nylon brush and a warm water and dishwashing liquid solution is recommended.
Clean porcelain daily with non-abrasive cleaners and a soft cloth or sponge. Spills and splatters should be cleaned as they happen to ensure the porcelain finish isn't compromised.
The beautiful luster of glass vessels can easily be preserved with a bit of simple regular maintenance.
Accessories - Cutting Boards
While our cutting boards are made from durable hardwoods from the Rubberwood and Sapele trees, they are not completely maintenance free.
Accessories – Drains
To avoid foul odors and unsanitary conditions in the drain, some regular maintenance is strongly suggested.
Bronze is a metal alloy composed primarily of copper and tin with traces of some other metals. Each of our bronze sinks comes with a beautifully aged patina baked into it, but it will continue to oxidize as time passes creating an ever-changing antique appearance. Some routine care is required.
Copper is a metal which changes and evolves with time as it reacts with the environment. While a new copper sink will add beauty and style to any decor, the natural oxidization process, or patina, requires some maintenance.
Never use an abrasive cleaner or rough sponge to clean or dry a faucet. Simply rinse and dry faucets with a soft towel every week to preserve a clean appearance and to prevent mineral deposits from forming.
Stainless Steel
Some general maintenance is required to keep a stainless steel sink always looking like new. Simply spraying down the sink with water after use is a start, but a little more work needs to be done as the sink is used.
Stone Sinks
The beauty of natural stone basins can be maintained with minimal routine care and cleaning.
